Community Work

Sepela believes in giving back to the communities where we work, and this is reflected in both our research and our community projects. As part of these efforts, Sepela Research Associate Lindsay Hunter is working with Instructors Paula Pebsworth and Brandi Wren on research leading to solutions to human-wildlife conflict in southern Africa. Further, each Sepela course includes a class project that allows us to share our skills and knowledge with an organization or group that works to benefit others. For example, this year’s Field Photography course will include a project with South African Medical Expedition, and the Primate Veterinary Care course will include work with the Vervet Monkey Foundation.
