Primate Veterinary Program

Dates available on a rolling basis.

Participants in the Primate Veterinary Program receive training and experience in primate behavior, ecology, husbandry, research, and veterinary care. The first week is spent studying primates in the wild and receiving Wilderness First Aid training and certification.  Time after that is spent assisting and training in veterinary care of captive primates in a sanctuary setting and wild primates in a research setting.  This program may require a minimum stay commitment depending on the project you assist with.

Cost: varies depending upon length of stay (begins at approximately $2000 for the first two weeks)
